Get ready to unleash your creativity and imagination in this magical event!

Crafters will create enchanting fairy abodes for the fairy house competition at the Fairy and Folk Festival at Chattanooga Audubon Society. The festival benefits the Chattanooga Audubon Society.

The Chattanooga Audubon Society will provide materials, but crafters are allowed to bring additional natural materials.

In this class you will:

• Choose Your Materials: Gather natural materials such as twigs, leaves, flowers, pebbles, and moss from the forest. Glue can be used, but other non-compostable materials such as glitter, plastic, and metal may not be used.
• Design with Delight: Let your imagination soar as you design your fairy house. Think tiny windows adorned with delicate petals, miniature furniture crafted from acorns, and whimsical pathways made of tiny stones. Include cozy bedrooms with soft moss beds, inviting living areas with tiny fireplaces, miniature fairy gardens filled with tiny plants, or even a tiny mailbox for fairy mail.
• Respect Nature: Remember to leave no trace! As you construct your fairy house, be gentle with nature. Avoid harming plants or disturbing the habitat of woodland creatures.
• Have Fun: Most importantly, have fun and let your creativity shine! This competition is all about celebrating the magic of imagination and the beauty of nature. May the most enchanting fairy house win!

This class is open to families. Each ticket is for up to three people (one adult, two children or two adults, one child). Children aged 4 and older are invited to participate, but all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Participants in this class will receive 15%Fairy and Folk Festival tickets.
