Cocktails & Photography Workshop

Learn about food and cocktail photography from a Times Free Press journalist.

Join us at Common House to learn how to make a bright summery cocktail and then photograph your creation with a lesson from Chattanooga Times Free Press food reporter and photojournalist Lyric Lewin.

In this workshop, Lyric will help you work through technical skills for both along with learning some tried and true basics regarding composition and lighting.

By the end of the evening, you'll walk away with a delicious drink in hand, new photography skills, and inspiration to keep experimenting at home.

Please bring your own smartphone or DSLR camera.

About the teacher:

Lyric Lewin has covered food stories across international kitchens and newsrooms. As a photo editor her work with the CNN Photos team was recognized by the National Press Photographers Association; and as a photographer her images have appeared in Esquire, and Condé Nast Traveler among others. As a writer her work has appeared in Whetstone Magazine, Zagat and Culture Magazine. She is the lead food reporter at The Chattanooga Times Free Press.
