Step into the new year with a renewed self-love and acceptance in this unique, meditative art class.
Watercolor, like life, is full of surprises. It flows, blends, and sometimes takes unexpected turns that are out of our control, reminding us to let go and embrace the beauty in the unplanned.
Class will begin with a 10-minute mediation to relax our minds and set our intentions on self-love. Then, with soothing music playing in the background, you’ll create an intuitive watercolor painting with your choice of colors. As you paint, you will be encouraged to follow your instincts, to let the water and pigment guide you, forming organic shapes, blends, and textures allowing it to evolve naturally. It will symbolize your own journey and celebrate not just the smooth, planned moments, but also the surprises and imperfections that make us unique.
Next, we will add your portrait. While viewing your image with kindness, love and acceptance you will trace it onto your painting.
To complete your portrait, you’ll place a gold crown atop your image creating something meaningful and beautiful. Your finished portrait will be a symbol of your worth and the beauty of your ever-unfolding story.
No prior art experience is necessary—just an open heart!
