Spend an afternoon exploring the various shades of the color grey (there are more than 50)!

Grey used in interiors can be calming to some, drab to others. Join Textile Designer Kerri Besse as she discusses our emotional response to grey and dives into color theory principles and the history of this often misunderstood color. Following the lecture will be a graphite pencil drawing lesson.

Students will have time for self-reflection, drawing, and group discussions throughout the class. We will also make a small grey-themed collage for you to take home. A journal, pen, and collage supplies will be provided.

Students are encouraged to bring something grey that holds sentimental value to them.
