Knitting 101: Reusable Dishcloth

In this class, you will learn the fundamental skills of knitting by creating a reusable dishcloth. You will learn how to cast on, the knit stitch or garter stitch, bind off stitches, and weave in ends.

You get to keep all your materials and the reusable dishcloth is the perfect stepping stone to a wearable project like a scarf.

About the teacher:

Claudia Hoffer is a Chattanooga artist with a BFA in Painting and Drawing; she has been knitting and crocheting for over twenty years. In 2014, she started Invisible Accidents to share her fiber art and paintings. Invisible Accidents is a collection of knit and crochet pieces, patterns, and artwork that celebrate and are inspired by a fondness for the sanctity of flaws created by the human hand.
