While some summer favorites may be winding down, a surprising variety of cool-weather crops thrive in the crisp autumn air.

The best part? Many fall vegetables are remarkably fast-growing, allowing you to enjoy a fresh harvest from your garden well into the cooler months.

In this class you will learn:

  • How to use your last frost date as a guide for planting cool-season vegetables at the perfect time.
  • Discover which fall vegetables thrive from direct sowing in your garden and which benefit from a head start indoors as transplants.
  • How to protect your vegetables from chilly autumn nights, extending your harvest window.
  • Pest protection for vulnerable fall vegetables including barriers and companion planting.
