In this hands-on class, you'll experiment with preparing your pages with a wide range of materials, including inks, watercolors, art crayons, acrylic paint, stencils, and more, to create dynamic, interconnected spreads on high-quality watercolor and mixed-use papers. Learn how to push the boundaries of traditional sketching by embracing the versatility of mixed media and the unique format of the concertina book. By the end of the class, you'll have a travel-friendly, personalized sketchbook that unfolds into a stunning display of your artistic journey—ready to inspire your next creative adventure!
This class is part of the Arts for Older Adults program and is open only to adults aged 60 or older through funding from the Tennesee Arts Commission and St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
